Or Steve Harvey’s mistake in 2015 when he announced Miss Colombia as Miss Universe instead of Miss Philippines.

Pauses are great for many reasons: They give the audience some time to process our ideas, they can build up the energy to delivery powerful punchlines and they act as the punctuation marks of speech. Indeed… “The most precious things in speech are the pauses”.

You don’t want to apply rational thinking and hinder the creative process. No matter how unachievable, silly or impossible an idea may be, just go with the flow. Allow it to flourish till you exhaust your imagination. That’s where the magic happens.
